2011 Organizational Session
The Alabama Legislature will convene in organizational session beginning Tuesday,
January 11. Although the election of the House and
Senate leadership is no longer in question, this week’s activities will
include the appointment of new committee chairs and members. The House
and Senate are expected to meet Tuesday and Wednesday before recessing for
the final day of the session on Tuesday, Jan. 18.
2010 Special Session on Ethics
As promised, the ACCA staff has prepared a full report
on the seven new "ethics reform" laws passed during the December 2010 special
