The 2007 Legislative Conference is scheduled for December 5-6 at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center in Auburn, Ala. We hope you will make plans to attend.

Each year the Association’s membership meets to discuss the upcoming Legislative session and approve the Legislative program that will guide our activities during the upcoming Legislative session. It is important that your county be represented at the conference to have input into the Legislative program.

Several important topics will be covered at the conference, including a preview of the 2008 Legislative Session and a discussion of the ACCA’s Legislative agenda for the coming year. Breakout sessions are also being scheduled for county commissioners, administrators, engineers, 911 directors, emergency managers and revenue officers.

Sleeping rooms at The Hotel at Auburn University are $91 and can be reserved by calling 800-228-2876. The deadline for making hotel reservations is November 3. Please identify yourself as a member of the ACCA to receive the special room rate.
