The 2010 ACAA Annual Conference is scheduled for May 26-27, 2010, at Marriott’s
Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Ala. We hope you will make your plans NOW to attend!
Conference registration for ACAA members is $185 each provided that we receive your registration before Friday, April 30. Registrations received after Friday, April 30, are $200 each.
Enclosed in your registration packet is information on the Excellence in County Administration
Award, the Administrator of the Year Award, and the ACAA Service Awards. On page 3 of your packet,
you will find a tentative conference agenda with topics you can certainly use to take "back home."
The conference dinner this year will be held offsite at Wentzell’s restaurant on Thursday, May 27. This is a family friendly event, so be sure to sign up your guests.
HOW TO MAKE YOUR ROOM RESERVATIONS: To reserve your room at Marriott's Grand Hotel, please go to www.marriottgrand.com and enter the code ascasca in the box marked "Group Code" along with your arrival and departure dates. If you are trying to come in a day early or stay a day late, you will need to call 1-800-544-9933 and refer to the group name. The conference room rate is $151 a night. The deadline to reserve your room is Monday, April 26.
SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT YOUR ROOMS: Please understand that we must use 85 percent of our room block, or ACAA will have to pay
for the unused rooms. We are asking that you please stay at The Grand Hotel in support of ACAA.
