| Executive Director - Mignon Bowers
It is with great pleasure that the Alabama City/County Management Association (ACCMA) Officers and Board of Directors announce the addition of Mrs. Mignon Bowers to the contract position of Executive Director of the ACCMA, effective March 23, 2005.
Mrs. Bowers retired as City Clerk in the City of Athens on January 1, 2004. She has been involved with ACCMA since 1988, during which time she served as Board Member, Secretary/Treasurer, and President and has worked with various Association committees.
As Executive Director, Mignon will be responsible for coordinating conferences, organizing board and committee meetings, recruiting members, soliciting corporate sponsors, updating the website, and providing general management services for the ACCMA in coordination with the Association’s Officers, Board of Directors and Committees as well as various ACCA staff members.
