2011-2012 Finance and Taxation Steering Committee
 The Finance and Taxation Steering Committee is one of five legislative steering committees. The committee reviews and evaluates issues related to state and local taxation affecting county government. This committee considers legislation and policy positions related to county financing and budgeting. The recommendations of the committee are forwarded to the Association's Board of Directors and ultimately included in the Association's legislative package.
These committee members volunteer many hours of time toward the Association's legislative package to ensure solid measures will be taken to protect county interests to the best of the Association's abilities during the upcoming Regular Session of the Alabama Legislature.
